1. Upload contents of the flvplayer_upload folder to your website.
  2. Paste the this code between <head></head> tags on your page.
  3. Paste this code in place on your page (wherever you want your player to appear)
  4. Upload your video file to flvplayer/media folder and update flvpVideoSource in the code above to reflect your file name (i.e. flvplayer/media/my_video.mp4)

FLV Player can be setup using our FlashVars API and it's parameters. All of these FlashVars can be used within your embed code in the same manner as our example at the end of this article.
Below we have listed only basic FlashVars. Full list (over 100 FlashVars and examples) is inluded with full version of FLV Player download.

FlashVar Default Value Description
flvpFolderLocation flvplayer/ Tells the FLV Player component where it can find the "flvplayer" folder on your server or local development environment. The "flvplayer" directory contains all of the fonts, media files, and xml settings.
flvpVideoSource empty Sets up the url to use for video playback. This can be progressive (http) or streaming (rtmp) addresses, or an xml file. When setting the http value you can use something like "http://domain.com/media/video.mp4". when setting a rtmp value you can use something like "rtmp://your.fms_server.com/application_name/,video_name". Note that you do not need to specify the file extension when streaming from a Flash Media Server.

flvpInitVolume 50 default volume level
flvpTurnOnCorners true Turn rounded corners on and off.
flvpBgColor #ffffff video player background color. Need to match your page background.
flvpAutoNextVideo false Specify whether or not a video will automatically loop once it has finished playing.
